Storyline

Louisa agrees to marry Sven in two weeks time but has reason to believe that he is gay and when challenged he admits it, claiming that he wants to prove himself with a woman and to take on a family. Louisa calls the wedding off but the Durrells still celebrate, as Larry has his novel published and Gerry considers releasing his animals into the wild, with even the reclusive countess turning up for the party.
