So, the winner is Kyle.Well, anything else would have been unfair given the history of those involved.However, the ending, which expects us to care that Phoebe and Ash might break up, is reaching.And the doctor who gives the results is obviously a master of the dramatic pause.
Chris and Hannah are quite good and seem to be having a positive effect on each other.Chris' comment about Kyle and Ash is simultaneously funny and cringe-inducing, but doesn't really fit with the attempt to revise his character as someone who fakes his ebullient nature.
There's a good use of Leah as John and Marilyn's mentor.The show finally addressing exactly what happened between Marilyn and George is good continuity, but requires a lot of work from the viewer to make it plausible that DOCS would find out.("Nicole told us" doesn't quite cut it.)
