- [first lines]
- Ruggedly Handsome Man: [the ruggedly handsome man wraps his arm around Jane Doe in her safe house apartment] Don't make a sound. Now, I'm gonna take my hand away, but I need you...
- Ruggedly Handsome Man: [Jane begins fighting the ruggedly handsome man] Stop! Stop! I don't wanna hurt you.
- Ruggedly Handsome Man: [Jane now wraps her arm around the ruggedly handsome man's neck] I came here to help!
- Jane Doe: How did you get in here?
- Ruggedly Handsome Man: We... we avoid detection. It's part of our training.
- Jane Doe: [in a flashback, Jane see's herself smiling while she helps bandage the ruggedly handsome man's hand] You'll be fine.
- [Dr. Borden talks to Jane about her safe house apartment break-in]
- Dr. Borden: A break-in is an intimate violation. But this is a real chance for us to...
- Jane Doe: I've been drugged. My memory has been erased. My entire body has been tattooed without my consent. A break-in at my safe house is the least intimate of my violations.
- Dr. Borden: And feelings of anger, feelings of resentment are all completely natural. Do you feel safe, Jane?
- Jane Doe: I can handle myself.
- Dr. Borden: I can see that. It's not what I asked. Do you trust the FBI to keep you safe?
- [Jane Doe sits in the vehicle with the other Agents ready to look for the Robek brothers]
- Jane Doe: [Jane notices the Agents wiring themselves with ear pieces] Should I get one of those?
- Kurt Weller: You got one. It's there.
- Jane Doe: [Weller points, Jane see's the radio at the dashboard of the car] It's attached to the car.
- Kurt Weller: Yeah, so are you.
- [Agent Patterson talks to Jane Doe about being a piece of a puzzle]
- Patterson: Do you know what a tangram is?
- Jane Doe: No.
- Patterson: It's a... it's a dissection puzzle consisting of flat geometric pieces, known as tans, which are put together to form elaborate shapes. This team has been one shape for a very long time. And you're a new piece. And we're just trying to figure out how you fit into all of this. But we're gonna find our new shape. It's just gonna take a second.
- [Agent Weller gives Jane Doe his gun while in the hospital]
- Jane Doe: What are you doing?
- Kurt Weller: You're right, you need a gun.
- Jane Doe: What about you?
- Kurt Weller: Don't worry about me. I'll get another one.
- [Agent Weller opens up to Jane Doe about who she might be]
- Kurt Weller: [Weller outside the hospital tells Jane] We have a theory... about who you might be. And we wanted to wait for DNA results before we told you.
- Jane Doe: Who?
- Kurt Weller: [Weller tells Jane with slight tears in his eyes] When I was ten... my next-door neighbor went missing. She was never found. Her name was Taylor Shaw. You're the same age. You got the same eyes. The same scar on your neck. And my name... tattooed on your back.
- Jane Doe: You think I'm Taylor?
- Kurt Weller: [Weller doesn't answer] You can trust me, Jane. I've been looking for you all my life.
- [Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair welcomes Jane Doe to the team]
- Bethany Mayfair: You'll need pass field certifications, of course. But, from what I hear, it won't be a problem.
- Jane Doe: Um... I'm on the team?
- Bethany Mayfair: Special Agents Weller, Zapata, and Reade, insisted. We still don't understand what's happening to you, but... we think you need to be part of figuring it out.
- Jane Doe: I don't know what to say.
- Bethany Mayfair: They trust you. So, I trust you.
- [Agent Patterson reads the blood results to Jane Doe having a match to Taylor Shaw's DNA]
- Patterson: I ran it three times with three different samples. You "are" Taylor Shaw.
- [Jane Doe and Kurt Weller freeze in silence]
- [last lines]
- Thomas Carter: [Asst. FBI Deputy Director Mayfair meets with the unknown Thomas Carter] Look, if the girl knows about Daylight, she needs to disappear.
- Bethany Mayfair: You don't get it. She doesn't know anything. It's the people who did this to her, created this insane treasure map - They're the ones I'm worried about.
- Thomas Carter: Do we have any idea who they are?
- Bethany Mayfair: Not yet.
- Thomas Carter: Then we need to take out the liability that we do know.
- Bethany Mayfair: No.
- Thomas Carter: [Asst. FBI Director Mayfair meets an unknown man by the name of Thomas Carter] See, I've always been a 'better safe than sorry' guy myself.
- Bethany Mayfair: The tattoos are already in the system. Killing her won't undo that. It'll only make it worse, draw more attention to it. I'm managing the situation. I just thought you needed to know.
- Thomas Carter: You thought right. If that girl has information about Daylight on her body, then we are in very serious trouble. There's only four people in the world who knew about that operation, and one of them is already dead. Don't manage the situation. Make it go away.
- [Agent Reade discusses the case of the masked thieves with Agent Zapata]
- Edgar Reade: They're known as the Candymen.
- Tasha Zapata: What?
- Edgar Reade: Because of their brightly-colored masks. They're an international heist crew. Interpol has a file on them that's like three inches thick. They've hit jewelry stores all over the States, Paris, Monaco, Dubai, Hong Kong. The past two years, they've walked off with over $70 million dollars in gems and precious metals.
- Tasha Zapata: This three-inch file... does it happen to mention who they are?
- Edgar Reade: No, they're good. Masks, in and out under a minute every time. Until today.
- [Agent Patterson helps Agent Reade and Agent Zapata with the license plates]
- Patterson: You guys familiar with ALPR?
- Edgar Reade: Like the dog food?
- Patterson: No, not... A-L-P-R-, Automatic License Plate Recognition. It tracks feeds from toll booth and road rule enforcement cameras. It's a mountain of data.
