Follows Moses leading and conducting the Hebrew people from the slavery of Egypt to the freedom towards the Promised Land, according to the Ancient Testament Bible book of the Exodus. The story is told like never before on TV and theaters, very faithful to the Scriptures. This first season narrates the beginning of baby Moses until the Ten Commandments told him by God on the Mount Sinai. The second season continues with the way to the Promised Land. Really Entertaining
23 March 2017 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I don't understand the low rating at all. The acting, costumes, setting, music, story line, effects, etc, are fine. There is some overacting, but it's a telenovela. It is what it is. I can overlook the few costume inaccuracies, as well. Side plots with extra characters were added to the story of Moses, but I can see them working in the Bible. I certainly wasn't offended. The reason I rate a 9/10 is because I did feel that some episodes were dragged out. They could have been one episode instead of two or three. Finally someone decides to record beyond the creation of the Ten Commandments. It's nice to see Leviticus and not just Exodus. Overall, I do recommend this series. You don't have to have Judeo-Christian beliefs to enjoy, but it obviously helps.
