TNT has renewed Michelle Dockery thriller “Good Behavior” for a second season. In addition to the “Downton Abbey” alum, “Good Behavior” stars Juan Diego Botto, Terry Kinney and Lusia Strus. The series is executive-produced by Chad Hodge and Blake Crouch, based on a series of books by the latter. Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements also executive produce. The sophomore run of “Good Behavior” is slated to launch in the fall. Louis C.K., Albert Brooks Animated Series ‘The Cops’ Gets Greenlight From TBS

Bad boys, bad boys: TBS has picked up 10 episodes of Louis C.K. and Albert Brooks’ new animated comedy “The Cops,” which had previously been set up at FX.

Louis C.K. and Brooks will voice the show’s lead characters, “Lou” and “Al,” two Los Angeles patrolmen “trying their best to protect and serve, sometimes failing at both. Ride with them as they patrol one of the biggest cities in the world, then go home with them and be glad you’re not married to either.”

The show will premiere in 2018; the two will also executive produce along with Greg Daniels, Dino Stamatopoulos, Dave Becky and Howard Klein.

TNT is rewarding Good Behavior, renewing the Michelle Dockery drama with a Season 2 pickup. The cabler made the renewal announcement Saturday at the Television Critics Association winter press tour.

According to TNT, Good Behavior reached an average of 4.4 million viewers per episode during its just-wrapped first season. That number, of course, factors in all platforms (traditional live viewing as well as VOD, mobile and digital).

Dakota Fanning is growing up… and going back to the Gilded Age to solve some of New York City’s most brutal murders.

The former child actor has joined the cast of TNT’s upcoming period thriller The Alienist, the network announced Saturday at the Television Critics Association winter press tour. Based on Caleb Carr’s bestselling book series, The Alienist centers on three investigators working together to solve a series of murders in 1896 New York. Fanning will play Sara Howard, a young NYPD secretary who’s determined to become the department’s first female detective.

Dakota Fanning has signed on to co-star in TNT’s highly anticipated adaptation of “The Alienist.” The cabler has also renewed its Michelle Dockery drama, “Good Behavior,” for a second season.

“Alienist,” from Paramount TV and Turner’s Studio T, revolves around the search for a serial killer in turn of the century New York City. Fanning plays Sara Howard, a secretary for police commissioner Theodore Roosevelt who is determined to become the city’s first female police detective. Daniel Bruhl and Luke Evans co-star.

The series, scheduled to bow late this year, is based on Caleb Carr’s best-selling novel of the same name. Production is slated to begin soon in Budapest.

TNT is recommitting to one of its freshman dramas.

The Turner network has renewed Good Behavior for a second season, it was announced Saturday at the Television Critics Association winter press tour.

Based on the Letty Dobesh books by Blake Crouch, the drama stars Michelle Dockery as Letty, a thief and con artist fresh out of prison trying to stay afloat and reunite with her young son.

Crouch executive produces with Chad Hodge, who serves as showrunner, Marty Adelstein (Prison Break) and Becky Clements (Last Man Standing) of ITV's Tomorrow Studios.

Bart Simpson is facing some unexpected competition.

NBC announced Friday that this Sunday’s Afc Divisional playoff game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Kansas City Chiefs is shifting from early afternoon to primetime, with kickoff now scheduled for 8:20/7:20c. The anticipated matchup was moved due to “a forecasted storm for the Kansas City area this weekend,” the network said in a statement.

As a result of the scheduling tweak, a rerun of Celebrity Apprentice and an all-new Dateline have been bumped. The game will now air opposite The Simpsons‘ highly publicized first-ever hour-long episode.
