Curtis Holt is trying to guess who the Green Arrow is, and he guesses "Neal Adams in Data Processing".
Neal Adams was the artist on some of the most famous Green Arrow comic runs. It was at this time Oliver became more of a "streetwise crusader for the working class and the disadvantaged", much like the character is in the Arrow tv series.
The car in the opening scene shootout is a 1967 Acadian Canso super deluxe, commonly referred to as the SD. As most shows filmed in Canada air in the United States producers are careful to use cars identifiable with American audiences, as the majority of the shows filmed there air here. During the 1960s, General Motors Corporation wanted to give the Canadian market its own brand; Ford, Chrysler, and Rambler were not doing this. Two examples are the Chevrolet Beaumont (a Chevelle, in the US) and the Pontiac Parisien (Bonneville). The car you are seeing in the opening shot is known in the US as a Chevy Nova Super Sports and in Canada as the Acadian Canso Super Deluxe.
Mathew Yanagiya appears in this episode as a detective. He appeared in Legacies (2012) as Stan Washington, a cop who was shot by Kyle Reston as they robbed a bank.
