This is a delightful show. At first it was a cute program with a little boy helping a superhero. But it has turned into a lot more. It's also a coming of age program.
Everything about the show is rather special. Jace Norman as Henry is just an outstanding young actor. He seems to put effort and a bit of touch into everything he does. He screams with effort, he falls with comic touch, he's great as a girl magnet, he has timing and crystal clear diction. His friend Charlotte is charming and just perfect for Henry. I applaud the producer for giving the young white male star, a black female as a best friend. It's brilliant and a reflection of the real America. They work so wonderfully together.
Captain Mann is excellent, so are all the other cast members. They really do work so well as a team.
I even like the sets, the props and the special effects. There was a episode that featured a villain's lair that represented his obsession with time. I thought it was rather elaborate set for a TV show.
This particular episode shows the terrific progression of the characters. Their lines are funny, the situation is cute, it's just a fun program to watch.
I've noticed that Henry/Jace is getting rather tall. I guess they'll adjust his character accordingly. Whatever they do, I hope for the sake of many that the show has a long successful run.
