Alexis complains about the food situation and soon there is a lot of bragging about cooking expertise. Moira enlists David to cook some enchilada dish her mother had the recipe for. The byplay between them in Roland Schitt's kitchen is priceless. Meanwhile, Alexis is trying to get rid of the vet so she can be together with Mutt. Of course, it's disastrous.

Moira's Enchiladas

The family thinks about what to eat and Moira reminisce her mother's food. Alexis is told that she is almost forty. The kids are treated as childish but they are in their thirties.
Alexis tells Mutt that she broke up with Ted but he can see she did not and asks her. Alexis goes back to the clinic in a pretty white dress and headband.
David goes to the motel's office to find Stevie. He asks if he can borrow her vehicle. Stevie offers a lift and as they are going outside David asks if she is wearing makeup.
Johnny is looking for an office space.
Moira cooks the enchiladas with David in the Schitts' kitchen. She explains later that she was more independent before - baked bread from scratch with her sister in a kitchen half the size; can fix furniture. But then after meeting Johnny she didn't have to do anything and she forgot her life skills.
