Is there any chance of survival?
"The 100" is reaching its third season climax and it is doing it with another great episode, with great action, good plot developments and so many things and so interesting happening that there's not a moment respite. On the down side, a couple of plot developments are not very original, but being as good as this episode is, it can be forgiven.

Clarke, Bellamy, Octavia and Jasper are on a mission to find Luna. Murphy gets a nice visit from Pike, with unexpected consequences. And Kane... well, Kane has problems of his own.

All three story-lines are nicely done, with good acting, action, tension and surprises. Probably Kane's the weakest, even if Cusick keeps the character being one of the most interesting of the show. Murphy, Pike and Indra's prison meeting seems to be telling the viewer: antagonistic-enemies-will-become-partners, but is another good moment for the show, with visceral feelings. Clarke's and company mission is quite interesting too, and it makes you wonder more and more about what the show can keep offering. It seems getting Luna's help won't be as easy as they expected.

It is actually amazing how "The 100" keeps developing characters, fresh story-lines and engrossing moments.

But can they stop the City of Light dwellers? Or is it just too late?

I enjoy it but it looks really messed up.

The story is so same same. It feels too ordinary. Many cliches. The character's development right now is so dull. It's just too messed up. But though I enjoy it.

Take The Key to The City Of Light!
cheryl_justinbieber29 April 2016
Warning: Spoilers
tonight's episode of the 100 is all about flashbacks, finding Luna, and most importantly Jaha and his chipped army. This is a flashback episode which they haven't done since season 2 i believe and it shows Pike getting assigned to teach the delinquents earth skills. Of course, after 2 weeks of teach earth skills some lessons stuck through with the survived delinquents. I love how they made this a flashback episode we learned how Murphy got sent to prison and how they showed that Octavia was basically the outcast of the delinquents because how she was a 2nd child in the ark. You could see that in her facial expressions that she was always so nervous, tense, and maybe scared i would say.

Back in Polis, since Jaha had convinced Ontari to take the key to city of light right now it is their main mission to get everyone chipped. We see how Pike and Kane resisted to take it and ultimately they took pike to a prison cell where Murphy, Indra, and a bunch of other grounders are in. Kane was taken back to a room where they had used Abby to try and get the answers to where Clarke and the others are in. The most funny part about this was that once ALIE had told Abby to try harder Abby kissed him and Kane realized she was chipped. i guess Abby wouldn't just kiss him out of nowhere so aggressive? lol

In the episode we finally get to know who Luna is! When Clarke, Bellamy, Octavia, and Jasper finally reached the end of the map that was on Lincoln's book they were sort of left wondering what else was there since it was just a bunch of rocks at the place. Until jasper threw in these leaves that actually acts as a signal. This is the part where i get emotional, Octavia has used the trigedasleng phrase that Lincoln taught her in season 2 Episode 1 and it makes me miss Lincoln more! Bellamy and Clarke have their talk about forgiving themselves and that they were gonna do it together. I still hate it that we haven't seen Clarke really grieve just yet because she's still trying to get that 2nd AI to Luna. Once they have met Luna they run outside and we see its a place in the middle of the ocean and i'm just like where the hell are they??! So next episode i'm excited as hell!!

The 100 is an amazing show!
jibootyislove29 April 2016
To all the butt hurt Lexa fans, please stop rating the episodes with one star. No amount of disrespect and hatred can bring her back to life, so get a life and move on. Seriously, it's extremely disheartening for the writers to see a bunch of one stars, and it isn't going to make them feel sympathy for you. Rather, it damages your bad reputation even further. Don't watch the show anymore if your favorite character dies, fine, but don't spread the hate to others. It's not cool, and I'm pretty sure you only have the guts to say those nasty comments because you're protected by a computer screen.

Thank you, and have a nice day.

Another amazing episode!

Warning: Spoilers
Wow! The 100 is finally back to being the show I've loved since season one. We have Clarke, Octavia, Jasper and Bellamy going on a quest to find Luna, the final nightblood, good nightblood anyway. While also getting flashbacks to the Ark where Pike is set to teach the delinquents how to survive on earth, before them being sent down to the ground. I personally really enjoyed the flashbacks. It was great seeing the kids being so clean and innocent again, it has been a long time.

The storyline with Clarke, Octavia, Jasper and Bellamy was also great. I loved how we saw Octavia putting the things she was taught in Earth Skills class to good use, and also for being a smart cookie and figuring out that they needed to signal the Boat people with the fire they built.

In Polis, things have taken a turn for the worse. ALIE 1, alongside Ontari and Jaha, are chipping everyone, killing anyone who refuses. It will be interesting to see how this pans out in the end.

I was super happy we finally got to meet Luna and I was so surprised to see they were living on an oil-rig. Did not see that coming. I'm excited about learning more about these people, hopefully also throughout season four.

All in all, an amazing episode that had me at the edge of my seat the entire time! The rest of this season is going to be awesome!

A perfect episode
sweetfireshadows29 April 2016
The 100 continues time and again to deliver quality television. The acting is great and the story is top notch. The writing and pacing have improved significantly in the second half of season 3. This show is not intended for children or immature people. It has strong adult themes that are best viewed by mature adults who are capable of separating fantasy from reality.

"Join or Die" was filled with excellent cinematic choices and a strong forward motion in the plot. The focus on the delinquents is always the most successful path for The 100 writers and this episode was no exception. Bravo to the writers and creative team for The 100. You are doing great work.

To the Producers and the Directors
mullie-3759130 April 2016
I've been watching The 100 ever since the first Season. Over the years The 100 has become different, it has evolved to target a larger audience, it just feels a bit different.

I don't mind the mass genocide of the cast, change is necessary for the survival of this franchise. I don't mind if you kill Heda, she needs to move aside for the story to continue, I've learned that when Finn had to die.

This episode gave me old memories and returned me to the universe of The 100, I believe the music at the end did this, but also the flashbacks, either way, I would hope the producers and the directors would go back to target my audience as they did in season 1. Thanks, I'm a boy, 21 years old.

Could this be perfection?

Warning: Spoilers
How can a show keep getting better and better like The 100 has been? This episode was beautiful, breathtaking and overwhelmingly impressive... This is the best episode of the show. Perfectly written and acted, "Join or Die" gives us what we were waiting! With Alie stronger than ever and few people who haven't taken the chip yet, it's gonna be an amazing fight. The introduction of Luna was incredible. The flashbacks were great. They showed how the characters grew. Murphy stays being a character with a deep background. Loved to see Indra and Pike scene. Great acting! And for those who couldn't realize, Lexa was NOT a real person! Stop spreading hate. Watch something else, or at least stop giving 1 star. This show is greater than ever! Congratulations CW!

Misses the Mark
jadek-382072 May 2016
The 100 once again delivers poorly constructed allusions to Christianity, mixed in with a bastardization of plot lines and scenes already done by Game of Thrones, along with attempts at emotional character redemption that fall flat and rushed on multiple accounts. The attempt to get a typical teen drama from the CW into the "Big Leagues" of emotionally devastating and engaging TV dramas like GOT and The Walking Dead is admirable, and might work, if the writers recognized what is and what isn't appropriate in terms of the pacing and overall construction of story arcs. All that's been building up could have been lovely storytelling had crucial factors such as character development and continuity factored into the decision making process of recent episodes. Overall, another disappointing episode that had potential to be great if the developments made had felt organic rather than manufactured.

Dumb
barnkat-0521128 April 2016
Warning: Spoilers
It was dumb.

How dumb? Very dumb.

Why? Poor writing.

Like what? Clarke character was further assassinated to prop up Man Pain McGee.

What else? Man Pain McGee had the Man Pain balls to blame his teenage sister for her boyfriend's death. Ya know the one he is actually to blame for.

Also, more redemption arcs for the other genocidal loony toon. Indra instead of getting justice for her 299 dead comrades that she lead... let him.

The 100 should be renamed to How to Away with Murder by Using Man Pain.

*Contains Spoilers* Why the 100 is no longer my favorite show ....
parchambeau-716082 May 2016
Warning: Spoilers
I know everyone seems to think Clexa fans are impolite and irrational, but this is not about Lexa anymore. It is about making an example out of a show that treats minorities like trash. Lexa was the very first character that I felt was written well enough to represent me. She was an incredible character. I hope I find more characters like her some day, and it pains me to have seen her die in such a way. This isn't just about LGBT either. This is about Lincoln as well. He died like a dog, in an unjust and grossly lazy way. I have never been more hurt or more offended by a show that I fell so deeply in love with. I miss Clarke's happy days. Clarke deserves so much more than what she's being handed, and she is not even getting the chance to grieve. Not once was she given a chance to grieve. She is only ever blamed and guilted. The only person who not once blamed Clarke was Lexa. At least give her a chance to grieve like the male characters were given. Overall, what I am trying to say is, this rating is not about the pain I feel for Lexa. This is about the lazy writing and the lazy plot lines. This rating is about the way Jason Rothenberg has since handled the outcry. I wish the actors/actresses all the best. I will support any future works from the cast, but I will not support this show.
