So, here we go, after four seasons this was the finale of 'Revenge'.
And there's a lot to like here. After a frantic and muddled fourth season the writers really go their act together, giving fans enough of what they wanted since day one, with a few unexpected twists too.
I do think though that the show went on a season too long. There were some nice moments in the fourth season, but nothing that could top the finale of season three. It was almost as if the writers were just throwing every madcap idea out there for the sake of it.
The annoying thing though is that the final scene sets us up for a potential spin-off that as yet has not emerged, leaving 'Revenge' with an unsatisfying end.
As I said, there's a lot to like. For me though I like to pretend that the season three finale was the end.
