Kill this Movie. Low Budget? More Like No Budget.

Warning: Spoilers
Let's start off on the positive points of the Movie. A Numerical List of What I Liked about this movie. 1.When it was Over 2.That I had the option of turning it off at any moment. That's It.

This has to be one of the Worst Movies of all time. The Music sucked, the cheap sound effects, the over played notion of suspense and that homely thing that was Marshall's mother. Murder, Incest & Bad acting. I think they used an old flip cell phone video to record this movie. I couldn't stand to watch the very unattractive Mom who made Marshall her lover, Gross. A boy who was sexually abused by his mother and in turn becomes a serial killing misogynist. Real Original...meh. All the actors in this movie were homely and run down. I'm pretty sure the high ratings for this movie came from the actors or film crew.

A Joke

So awful. Everything about this film is laughable. The lead actor is as bad as they get. The sound effects are ridiculous. It would never be acceptable as a student film, unless the students were very young children. I can only assume that the one decent review was written by a participant or other of someone involved with making this catastrophe.

Pretty damn good!

Warning: Spoilers
Just watched this over the long chilly weekend. For a low budget indie this was pretty good. Really good! Intriguing story, great acting. Bottom line it kept me interested for almost two hours and the ending was...unexpected to say the least. I though it had to end one way but something happened and it couldn't end that way and with a few minutes left I had no idea what could possibly happen. OMG! And now it all makes sense. If you look at the tech specs for this film it was made on a Panasonic GH2 which is a camera that cost under $900 dollars, this being considered I am impressed. Usually in low budget indies it seems like the filmmaker got all his/her friends to act in it and it shows, but this is a solid if unknown cast. After this I rented the director's other feature, Of Starlight, obviously much smaller budget but equally Interesting effort. If this were Hollywood I'd give it a 7/10 but since it was such an indie made by nobody I bump it to an 8.
