A thoughtful film about loss

Ashes delves into a difficult topic - the sudden death one's parents - with subtly and grace. It depicts the passage of Liam (played by Jake Raymond) from shock through to acceptance in a heartwarming and inspiring journey. Definitely one of the highlights of indie film in 2017.
