What's with all the bad reviews?

I cannot believe how low the other written reviewers rated this show. I think this show is better than most Lifetime movies and shows as far as acting. The cinematography is more modern and cool. The stories are based on real life, and it is interesting to see them played out with actors versus the real person just sharing their story in a chair. I actually wish Lifetime would make more of these! They picked stories that have a lot of twists and turns, which makes it exciting to watch. I decided to write this review since the other two reviews were the complete opposite of my opinion of this show.

Is this a joke?

I thought this was going to be a true crime with realistic reenactment, but no. This is shot like soooo weird voyeuristic through glass and angles and jittery camera work from Blair witch project, then the cutaway like I'm watching The Office. Acting is so bad, the writing is bad, the story gets so lost that you forget that it's actually based on real stuff. I've never seen anything like this. I'm recommending it to my friends only so we can laugh at it together. Kinda like how my boyfriend and I never miss an episode of Days of Our Lives (started bored during the pandemic) just to watch the cheese and predict it and always say, "how is this on tv?!?!!" So ya, it's like that.

Description is deceiving

Like the other reviewer, I too thought this was a show kinda like what they show on ID channel with real clips. This show is labeled as "reality" but it's basically just actors re-enacting scenarios from real stories I guess in the setting of a reality show. I don't get the point of trying to make it out like they are on a reality show..they would have been better off just making it into a mini series or something. Besides that, the acting is mediocre at best. Mind you, I have never acted a day in my life..no experience whatsoever, but somehow I feel like I could have done a good job in one of the roles on this show. That's how bad and cheesy the acting is. The only reason I gave it two stars is it helped me occupy time while on my lunch break.

worst show I've ever seen

Warning: Spoilers
This was a VERY awful show! i watched it last night with my mother, and it was insane. In the first episode we watched, there was a mother, step father, and a daughter. i think the daughter was visiting home to move forward in her acting career, and soon we find out that her step dad was an actor as well. long story short, the daughter starts sleeping with her step dad. the mom finds out toward the end of the show, but the way she reacted was a huge WTF moment. she found them doing the dirty up stairs, and she leaves.. telling them to leave her house before she returned home. and to spoil the end, the daughter leaves her step dad/ lover, after he helps her get a part in a movie. Along was the show being absolutely terrible, the way it was shot was in the style of reality TV. I didn't understand this one bit. so there you have it, lifetime doesn't always have lovely little dramas.
