Not bad, but kinda choppy

Good idea for the movie with some decent characters with some decent backstories. The execution was a little bit choppy but the actors were interesting enough to keep me engaged. Worth a watch.

Lessons in Poor sex

The title of this film is very misleading, since neither the plot nor characters are about "love" (and especially not "love inside") but about sex, and very lopsided sex, at that. The male characters believe explicitly (they are often discussing it) that sex has to be "like animals" - that is, wild and unrestrained physically. They seem to be inattentive to how their female partners (or perhaps "victims" would be more accurate) are reacting. No love necessary. Naturally, then, in all of the numerous sexual encounters depicted, the women get little satisfaction. They never seem to get an orgasm from them, but rely on vibrators when they are alone. None of the men believe this, and insist that "she always comes." They deny that the women are faking it. Due diligence: the writer of this review is a heterosexual male who has had very pleasant and long-lasting sexual relationships with several loving women.

Nothing happens. Nothing to see here. Competent actors & actresses with nothing compelling or intriguing to work with. It's essentially a movie about a group of people that seem to be friends and enemies and "Hey, let's have some bonding time at the cabin". This type of movie has been done before & achieved similar results. I feel like I've wasted my time watching it. I didn't walk into this expecting much but I didn't ask for my pocket to be picked either.
