| Plot Summary |
Kristin, a single 40-year-old secretary, plans to celebrate her birthday with her boss. However, her plans for a romantic candlelit evening changes: her strong-willed mother Gerti and her partner-in-crime Lenny--Kristin's best friend--have planned a surprise party for her. Inside Lenny's gift to her--a reclaimed suitcase from the airport's lost-and-found auction--lies a collection of love letters and personal affectionate poems, addressed to a mysterious woman. Who might she be, and who would be able to write such emotional and romantic letters? Touched and inspired by the suitcase's fiery content, Kristin attempts to solve the mystery and experience, for once in her life, a profound love with her one true soulmate.
