Yuri Prytkov's "Okh i Akh" depicts two neighbors: the perky Akh and the gloomy Okh. As the day progresses, it becomes clear that Akh and the other neighbors can't ignore Okh. It's not any sort of special cartoon, but it does make a good point about friendship and assisting those in need. These old Soviet cartoons didn't usually have fancy animation but had good plots, and that's what matters. I've liked every Soyuzmultfilm cartoon that I've seen. They're available on Soyuzmultfilm's YouTube channel, but I hope that one day they'll be available on DVD. I recommend this one. I'll see the sequel soon.

I wonder if there was a Soviet equivalent of Bugs Bunny.
