Great, engaging episode!

I thought Friend With Benefit a very entertaining episode, while the story may not have developed a lot, every scene was so hilarious and all the jokes saved the episode. I thought the new characters in the episode we a bit weird and didn't have enough time to develop, but that was kind of a good thing so that we didn't become too attached to them so that we didn't miss them in future episodes. I thought every scene was well written and hilarious, I found my self laughing quite a lot compared to other Season 27 episodes. The story wasn't too complex, which was a good thing because it allowed all these great scenes to be written and I loved them. Homer and Lisa'a relationship is explored in this episode, while not as heartwarming as Halloween of Horror, it still is a little heartwarming. I think this is one of the highlights of season 27, for me anyway, and I recommend you to watch this stunning episode, Friend With Benefit.

Could have been Sweet, but instead it's just Filler,

Friend with Benefit is a mediocre Simpsons episode with a reasonably well written storyline and enough funny scenes can sidetrack you from its lack of story, at times. It certainly has its moments, seeing Lisa being vulnerable for one of the first times in a while was nice, as she stumbles in to the luxuries of living a wealthy lifestyle, and there's a nice message in the episode on how money isn't everything. This episode just feels like filler, the writers didn't have much aspirations to tell this story, they just wrote it, you can feel that the whole way through, the story is poorly developed, we're mostly watching Homer and Lisa enjoy a rich life, without using these scenes to keep the story moving. It had potential to make it a sweet episode between Homer and Lisa, which I always enjoy, but it never does, and the two new characters, Harper and her dad, are annoying and didn't make me laugh once. It may have its moments, but Friend with Benefit is a very forgetful Simpsons episode.

Homer sees the chance to live the good life when Lisa befriends a wealthy girl.

Season 3 of anything is the best!

That was the greatest line I ever heard Lenny Leonard say. Friend With Benefit also had a lot of great jokes and characters to go with it, and a good storyline very reminiscent of Brother, Can You Spare Two Dimes? when Homer likes a massage chair he can't afford, and enjoys the rich amenities that Harper and her father have. I like having Kristen Bell from Frozen and Ralph Wrecks the Internet in this.
