When Jimmy (Bob Odenkirk) and Kim (Rhea Seehorn) are watching a movie together, Jimmy asks Kim "What is this weird fascination you have with stories of men trapped on the North Pole?" Kim quickly refutes this question by stating that Ice Station Zebra (1968) takes place on the North Pole, while The Thing (1982) takes place on the South Pole. This is a direct reference to episode 3.11 of Breaking Bad (2008), Abiquiu (2010), when Skyler (Anna Gunn) opens a check made to her from "Ice Station Zebra Associates", which is apparently Saul's name for the fictitious company under which they are to carry out their money laundering scheme.
The phone number for Davis and Main in Jimmy (Bob Odenkirk)'s commercial works. When called the voice prompt asks if "you or someone you know is a resident at a Sandpiper facility...".
The wiggly pig toy Mike (Jonathan Banks) gets working for Kaylee (Abigail Zoe Lewis) is used to distract Chris (Christopher King) in the Madrigal (2012) episode of Breaking Bad.
The Texas Flag wall shown in the episode is actually located in Albuquerque. It was painted to look weathered and the payphones were fakes. It can be found on the back corner of a furniture store located at the corner of Madison & Central Ave.
Jimmy (Bob Odenkirk)'s commercial uses the electric stair chair as a makeshift dolly after the film crew says they didn't bring one.
