Jacky St. James pumped new life into her TABU TALES of incest series by casting fresh femmes in this edition (while following porn procedure by using seasoned, reliable male talent). Result is mixed but the Willow Hayes vignette is a classic.
Hayes is a specialty performer who (here) doesn't resemble anyone's notion of a porn star: she's thin, flat chested, with long nose, plain features and perhaps for her own special niche, sporting an anachronistic hairy beaver and even hairy armpits. On paper this sounds like a litany of woes, but director Jacky wisely took a chance and cast her for maximum plain-Jane contrast with buff, studly Chad White, and the result hits pay-dirt. I was immediately reminded of the classic scene in THE WAY WE WERE when Barbra pours her heart out to Redford, wondering if he can love her even though she's not as beautiful as other women (or implicitly, as beautiful as he is). That scene probably looked excruciating on paper, but it really works on screen, as does the Willow/Chad pairing here.
She tutors him at the last minute for a Physics final and discovers that this step-bro never gave her a second look (or civil answer in conversation) because he was intimidated by her intelligence, not put off by her lack of looks (and in crass porn context, lack of boobs). St. James is typically flippant, tongue-in-cheek or downright satirical in most of these incest stories, but this time she made a good point, and the resulting hot sex scene proves it.
Though few would accuse these performers of being actors, Hayes does display a transformation for the role; in same label's MY SISTER HAS A TIGHT PUSSY 2 (love those titles) she is clean-shaven, with more make-up on, and looks fine but indistinctive in a goofier role opposite Bruce Venture.
The other three pieces of this feature are weak by comparison, especially the finale where Xander Corvus and diminutive sister Yhivi make sexual wagers (a blow job on the result of a football game score) as they escalate their vaguely incestuous attraction to each other to its logical conclusion. These two have nothing in common, seem like they just met in passing at a bus terminal, and the entire half hour is just sex filler. Perhaps NOT learning my lesson from the previous Willow episode, I couldn't find anything appealing about Yhivi and merely felt sorry for the kid having strayed into the Adult industry, perhaps under false pretenses. Looking at her credits this struck me as merely a pro-am exhibition.
Carmen Caliente gives an impressive demo of nude twerking (I don't know how Ms. Cyrus missed this achievement) opposite Logan Pierce in a silly segment that is all sniggering '50s type porn updated to explicit XXX level. He claims to be helping her out by videotaping an audition for a dance contest, but the escalation from innocent behavior to the equivalent of date rape is beneath Ms. St. James' usual standards. The element of tease is what works best here. Though most of the cast play characters with the same names, Carmen is named Rosalina Veracruz here just to see if I was awake (the DVD box cover liner notes get her name as well as Chad's wrong because of this).
Tyler Nixon, whose smiling innocent routine is getting to be quite repetitious, stars in the other vignette opposite attractive Aaliyah Love, who seems to have left her humble days of getting tickled or trussed up in idiotic FM Concepts fetish videos behind (how did I ever miss such timeless adventures with her as I WRAPPED A GIRL AND I LIKED IT?). This is mediocre Jacky stuff - Love teases, the duo finally gets together and after some mild choking by Tyler and Aaliyah exclaiming "Make me dirty!" it all ends with a shot on the belly. Most cryptic element is auteur Jacky using the laundry room or collecting laundry (here it's Aaliyah's wet panties) for the umpteenth time as pointless centerpiece.
