- Scorpion is hastily rebooted by the new Homeland Security director Adriana Molina to handle a crisis when the nuclear-powered Russian K-12 satellite is reported knocked out of orbit by space debris. They race to the Rocketry Aeronautics Center to divert the now-turned A-bomb's course before it detonates over Southern California. Toby must plant a bug in the Russian consulate, Sly finds the US data fake and the director must ward off an FBI security team. But Walter is hiding not yet being fully recovered physically or mentally given a hand injury with temporary prosthesis, post-concussion syndrome and hidden, actually requited feelings for Paige clouding his judgment.
