Most MPs were in favour of the documentary and cooperated with its production, but parliamentary staff informed the programme makers that they had become aware of a plan amongst a few right-wing Conservatives to knock over a cameraman who was filming proceedings in the House of Commons and then to use the disruption that this would cause as justification for banning the BBC from continuing filming.
