Everyone is stuck in an elevator. The only thing lower than rations is patience. Oh, and their only rescue is a highly-advanced rolling toaster. What could go wrong?

Storyline

Plot Summary

Malory schedules a mandatory 7 am staff meeting, so Pam, Cheryl, Cyril, Ray, Lana, Krieger, and--at the last minute--Archer pile into the office elevator. When the elevator breaks down, the guys manage to crack open the doors between floors; no one is there but Milton, the robot. There is no cell phone signal and the elevator telephone is dead. Cheryl "goes all Sylvia Browne": Archer wants a drink, Lana wants to lecture them, Pam wants more bear claws, Ray wants to smoke, Cyril wants to wank, and Krieger worries that the gang will figure out that he is just a Krieger clone. They bicker, banter, and try to escape the elevator; Lana and Ray try to escape figurative starvation. Will Milton make toast? Will Archer bring "phrasing" back into the mix? Is it legally considered an emergency to be stuck in an elevator? It is a genuine Vision Quest when Malory finally opens the doors to the elevator and views the results. Written by LA-Lawyer

Quotes Lana Kane: Ray! Ray, call Malory!
[everyone choruses agreement]
Sterling Archer: Wait, call who?
Lana Kane: Malory! I bet she's downstairs! She can call and elevator repair guy!
Ray Gillette: Oh, yeah, shit, hang on.
Sterling Archer: Yeah, hang on! Ray...
Ray Gillette: Hang on.
Sterling Archer: I'm saying hang on!
Ray Gillette: Hang on! What are you, deaf?
Sterling Archer: What are you, colorblind?
Pam Poovey, Cheryl Tunt, Doctor Krieger, Cyril Figgis, Lana Kane: Whoa!
Doctor Krieger: Too soon.
Pam Poovey: Yeah. Inappropes.
Sterling Archer: She said, flapping her wildly unkempt vagina at her coworkers!
Pam Poovey: Oh, please! You've all seen it.
Lana Kane: Wait... oh, my God, we actually have.
Sterling Archer: And yours.
Lana Kane: What? Krieger hasn't!
Cheryl Tunt: Well, maybe not in person...
Doctor Krieger: [trying to shush her] Ba-ba-ba-ba-bup!
Lana Kane: [pinching the bridge of her nose] Stop... talking.
Ray Gillette: Everybody stop talking! Tryin' to make a phone call!
Sterling Archer: No-no-no-no-no!
[Ray hits dial. The elevator's emergency phone starts ringing; everyone looks at it, then glares at Archer]
Sterling Archer: I'm not here.
[Cyril picks up the phone and holds it up so everyone can hear it]
Sterling Archer: [recorded message] Are you tired of constantly getting stuck in elevators? Do you wish there was a way to not keep constantly getting stuck in elevators? Well, friend, wish and be tired no longer.
[everyone screams and charges at Archer]
