- A film on an extremely current and relevant topic of today's times - Child Safety. This is an issue generally pushed under a carpet. The rise of child abuse and rape cases in India is a reason for concern on all levels. With this film, I intend to get this issue out in the open and provide an impetus for rigorous discussion. Our trust in educational institutions and the services provided by the institutions has today become shaky, as worldwide more cases come to light where care givers/teachers/transport providers take disadvantage of the vulnerability of children in charge of them. The movie takes us on a journey of the victim's mother, her despair, and her finding her self.
- Aditya Deshmukh and Revati Deshmukh live a life with full off happiness and the reason for the happiness is their daughter Anaya.But life takes a tragic turn one day and their happiness screwed forever. Anaya once returns late from the school and Revati notices that she is crying continuously and bleeding a medical test revels that Anaya has been molested by her school bus driver and cleaner.Things then don't remain the same thou Shreya recovers from the trauma its not the same with Revathi who goes in trauma after the incident and looses hope in everything.But Aditya decides to be strong and overcome everything to see Revati smiling back.—alex.mjacko@gmail.com
- Revati Deshmukh(Girija Oak) is today's mother trying to balance between her job and family life and upbringing of her fiver year old daughter(Anaya). Her world comes apart when one day her daughter is brutally raped. Not able to express her anguish, she slowly gets on the edge of psychological disorder. Aditya( Aastad Kale), feels helpless as a husband and a father and tries to do everything. Revati's struggle to get her life back is THE JOURNEY TO HER SMILE.
