Through the perspective of Australian environmentalist Miranda Gibson, the documentary explores the efforts to save the forests in Tasmania from the mining corporation Ta Ann. In late 2011, Miranda climbed a 60-meter tall eucalyptus tree in the Styx Valley forest, which borders the UNESCO World Heritage Site, to protect it from deforestation. She remained in the tree for 451 days before being forced to descend due to a sudden forest fire, which still lacks an official culprit. The documentary elucidates the reasons driving the determination of conservationists to protect these ancient forests and discusses the successes they have achieved.
