When Umeå a few years back was appointed European Capital of Culture 2014 a panic was spread amongst the local politicians. The constant construction and re-construction of Umeå had destroyed nearly all birch trees. To make the slogan "The city of birch" true in time they secretly imported special fast growing birch trees... from Chernobyl. That always ends well. |
