The scenes of Chloe Blackshire dancing in a white art gallery were shot on a whim after a gallery owner allowed Greenberg's crew to enter the space while he was about to get a slice of pizza.
Many of the houses in the film are miniatures built by Dylan or her classmates in their high school art class.
Some scenes in the film, including the title sequence, are shot with an IPhone. The rest is shot with a DSLR that used only two lenses.
The director, Dylan Greenberg, was 17 years old when she directed this film.
In the scenes where Reverend Jen levitates, the effect is achieved with mannequin legs Jen already owned; they are intended for male clothing.
