  Sergeant Daniel Hood : No, but I'm coming to you as a friend and we don't have much time.

  Malachy Doyle : [Confused]  What happened to your face?

  Sergeant Daniel Hood : Don't ask. Full force law is on Jake and Leslie and I may not be able to stop it.

  Malachy Doyle : [Answering the phone]  Des?

  Jake Doyle : [over the phone]  Are there cops listening in? Are they there yet?

  Sergeant Daniel Hood : I know that's Jake. Just tell him to disappear.

  Malachy Doyle : No, not yet.

  Inspector Vince Pickard : [Runs in and grabs the phone out of Malachy's hand]  DON'T HANG UP THAT PHONE! DOYLE! I know that's you wherever you are. I swear to god that I'm going to find you and that dirty cop girlfriend of yours, YOU GOT IT!

  [Jake breaks his phone in half and throws it away] 

  Inspector Vince Pickard : [Turning to Malachy]  Damned you!

• Des Courtney : I cracked the code on William Clarke's phone. There were a lot of useless photographs on there but I also found a lot of hidden files.

  William Cadigan Clarke : I'm the mayor. I can do what I want. Consider the Chevaliers welcomed in the City of Legends okay?

  Damon Rhodes : Can that be guaranteed? My organization rewards people for their loyalty.

  Inspector Vince Pickard : I can confirm Mr. Rhodes's statement.

  Jake Doyle : Wait? Play that back!

  [Des plays back the recording] 

  Inspector Vince Pickard : I can confirm Mr. Rhodes's statement.

  Jake Doyle : Does that voice sound familiar?

  Malachy Doyle : [Shocked]  It's Pickard!

  Jake Doyle : He's with Leslie right now.

• Inspector Vince Pickard : I know that some of you have allegiance to Leslie Bennett but I don't care. Now I want Jake Doyle and his ex-cop girlfriend in this police station in five hours and I'm authorizing the use of whatever force is necessary to bring them down! YOU GOT IT?

  [Hood walks out of the squad room. Pickard notices] 

• Inspector Vince Pickard : That is some ride and on a cop's salary no less.

  Leslie Bennett : What salary? You fired me, remember?

  Inspector Vince Pickard : [Sliding his jacket lapel back and exposing his gun in its holster]  Nice and easy Bennett.

  Leslie Bennett : [Holding up her holstered gun]  What do you say we do this without these?

  [Pickard nods his head in agreement. They both put their guns down in the front seats of their cars] 

  Inspector Vince Pickard : Now, tell me why it is that I'm not bringing you in right this instant huh?

  Leslie Bennett : I'm betting that you want to hear what it is that I have to say?

  Inspector Vince Pickard : That's some gamble.

  Leslie Bennett : It's the only card I have left.

  Inspector Vince Pickard : Alright? I'm listening. The Chevaliers? You think they've gotten to the cops?

  Leslie Bennett : They had City Hall on the take. It makes sense that they have the cops.

  Inspector Vince Pickard : Do you know how this sounds?

  Leslie Bennett : Yeah, I know how this sounds. A cop on the run, being accused of a million things, accusing other cops of being dirty.

  Inspector Vince Pickard : It sounds crazy is how it sounds.

  Leslie Bennett : The RNC is a very reputable force. I know. I've been a part of it my whole life but I need to root out who's behind all this and I need your help.

  Inspector Vince Pickard : Do you realize what you're inferring?

  Leslie Bennett : Someone is on the take from the force and the thing is, I know every cop on the force pretty well with the exception of one or two.

  Inspector Vince Pickard : One or two? Meaning me Sergeant? Now I'm in on it with the bikers now?

  Leslie Bennett : I didn't say that. YOU DID!

  [Leslie starts to step up on Pickard] 

  Leslie Bennett : Is there anything that you want to share with me?

  Inspector Vince Pickard : Why would I want to share anything with a disgraced ex-cop who's wanted by the law?

  [Jake shoots Leslie a text that reads "Pickard's in with Rhodes. BE CAREFUL!"] 

  Inspector Vince Pickard : [Pickard starts to panic and tries to open his car door but Leslie kicks it shut. Pickard delivers a rough backhand to Leslie's chin. She runs for her life as Pickard struggles to unholster his gun, He does unholster his gun and starts to fire on Leslie as she runs up the embankment]  DAMMIT!

  [Pickard catches up to Leslie as she runs away. He runs up to her and shoots her in her shoulder. Leslie has a look of shock on her face. Pickard aims for the back of Leslie's head,] 

  Inspector Vince Pickard : It's a shame. You should have just said you were sorry. Just walked away. It would have all been easy.

  Leslie Bennett : ARRGH!

  [Leslie tackles Pickard and starts to roll down the embankment with him in tow. They're both wrestling with each other for the gun. They both land at the bottom of the embankment with Pickard's gun just out of reach. They both reach for the gun. We hear a loud bang but we don't know who takes the fatal shot]
