When the body of a Naval officer is found in the swamp, the team investigates. They learn that among his assignments was that he was at Guantanamo. And it appears that his death could resemble someone being water boarded. So they think it was retaliatory. But when no one takes credit for it, they think it might not be about revenge. They go to the officer's home to talk to his wife but when they get there, they find the place a mess and evidence that the officer was killed there. They talk to the neighbor who tells them of a car that was parked outside. While they look for the car, they learn that the wife is from an affluent family so they go to her brother a politician who says she's on vacation. They later find out that the car seen at her house is the brother's so they go back to talk to him but he tries to bolt. They get him and he admits his sister was kidnapped. He tries to get the ransom but the family's lawyer is being difficult. While they wait for the kidnappers to call, they try to find her on their own.
