Warning: Spoilers
Warning don't read this unless you've seen the episode.

Well it's came down to the final episode of the show. This to me one of my favorite finales of all time. Which is what makes this all the more sad but like every video game we play we all eventually reach the end.

What makes this great is that despite VGHS at it's lowest point ever, the gang is not going down without a fight. It's was just so gratifying just seeing not just the VGHS gang but also Calhoun other supporting character you seen in the show all come to the gang's side forming a army, to play one last game, despite not saving the school win or lose. This is that it once again correlates with the theme of the whole show, it's all about the game.

The battle was just epic it was an all out war, everyone had a hand in things. The chirography in the battle is great we saw everyone do their part, I even like that we had a little more to it like vehicular assault and even hand to hand combat.

The funnest thing in the battle was seeing both the Law and New Law both of them have became frienamies. It is just fraking hilarious as both are trying to off Ki Swan just to prove one or both of them are the best. It then leads to a moment which just made me roar with laughter, which of course was one big homage to the film "Thema and Louese". Which just signified how both are truly a couple of blowholes.

We see all four of the VGHS gang have a hand in the final fight. From Ted driving like he's never driven before to escort Brian, Ki, and Jenny to the base. We see one little moment that was touching where there is a flashback of where Ted's love for racing came from and it's Ted as a child riding a supermarket cart and his dad is pushing. It was great and almost put a tear in my eye, knowing that was the one good thing Ted's dad did for him giving him his future. Ted of course gets shot which was sad but was able to get them all to where they needed to be; so Ted went down as a hero.

Ki's battle with Shane was solid, though I wish it could of been a bit longer but oh well the chirography on the hand to hand combat was spot on. And of course she wins, and it really felt great.

We even see Jenny have a showdown with Derek whom is piloting a harrier jet, Jenny needs one good shot to take him out. The stakes are higher this time since this is a Harrer. We then see her line her sights at Derek and seems like she's about to take the shot, but then she moves the crosshairs a slight distance and fires. And no she didn't miss, that's actually a real sniper tactic for moving targets, hit them at where their going to be, not where they are. We then see the bullet connect and Derek crashes and burns.

And of course Brian delivers the last blow which was fitting since he is the main character of the show and to me the true heart of the school, he detonates the bomb to blow up the enemy base and they all win the game.

It was just great I actually cheered it was so exciting and gratifying, because it showed they were true champions. And of course we see both Derek and Shane Barnstormer both get their comeuppance which I thought was hilarious because it was poetic justice. Which of course means the VGHS gang and their army not just won the game but saved the school, only word to say to that is WOW! I even like one little moment I thought was touching when we see both the Law and New Law become friends in the end. That's another good message how it's better to make friends than enemies.

The only problem and I'm probably going to be in the minority on this but part of the ending I didn't think was fully satisfying. Jenny's decision I really have a problem with because it really under minded her journey, it doesn't feel like she's really following her dream but just repeating the same mistake as her mom. I personally wished she just stayed with Brian.

Though I wouldn't fret too much since both the actors Josh and Joanna are married in real life, so in a way you can say Brian and Jenny have stayed together, sort of.

The ending was touching as we see Ki and Ted both at Brian's house and there testing out a new game Ki programed which is an 8 Bit NES game. It signified how truly far all of them have came from their humble beginnings. And the ending was really sad at the same time, this is just one of those stories you don't want to end.

I personally would love to see this show have a movie for the silver screen, after all we haven't seen Ki, Ted, Brian, and Jenny graduate. And may'be even a sequel series like VGHS 2.0 where it would be follow a new group of characters and we could explore more aspects of the school and gaming like RPGs, survival horror, etc. I don't know but like I said this franchise just has so many possibilities that could be considered.

Farewell, Ellery, Jimmy, Joanna, and Josh we'll miss you all and farewell Video Game High School, it was a great game.
