Harry Standjofski: Lian-Chu
Quotes
-
Zaza : Zoria's coming to visit.
Lian-Chu : [delighted] Zoria?
Gwizdo : Zoria?
[He runs over to Jeanneline]
Gwizdo : Are you nuts, Jeanneline? We got enough trouble with competition! Why not invite every dragon hunter in the world over and we'll just throw in the towel?
Jeanneline : I'll have you know that Zoria is my daughter and Zaza's sister, and besides, if Zoria's become a dragon hunter, it's entirely your fault.
-
Lian-Chu : [looking at Gwizdo's poster] That face says something to me.
[Gwizdo snatches the poster]
Gwizdo : Oh, yeah? You wanna know what this guy says?
[He holds the poster up in front of his face as though to speak as him]
Gwizdo : "Hello, Lian-Chu. It's me, your competition. Let me tell you: Your dragon hunting days are OVER! Your successful career: OVER! Life as you know it in that cozy little inn where you like to hang your hat: OVER! Nyahahahahahahahaha! Easy come, easy go. Nyehehe. See you. Buh-bye. Sayonara. Have fun in the poor house. Nyahahahahaha! Ruin. Ee-hee. Ee-hee-hee-hee-hee-hee."
[He looks up at the interior of the Snoring Dragon]
Gwizdo : I gotta admit, Jeanneline, it is a cozy little inn.
-
Lian-Chu : Gwizdo, when it comes to contracts, you're the best. But as for dragon hunting...
Moustached Man : [to Gwizdo] He's right.
[He addresses Lian-Chu]
Moustached Man : We must team up.
-
[the moustached man observes Gwizdo, who is curled up sound asleep on the riverbank with Hector lying on top of him]
Moustached Man : He's really not so bad when he's asleep.
Lian-Chu : May I ask you something?
Moustached Man : Why yes, of course.
Lian-Chu : The Kiwajel Thrust. Who taught it to you?
Moustached Man : My master. A noble, kind-hearted man. He was like a father to me.
Lian-Chu : What's his name? Surely I know him.
Moustached Man : One cannot know another until one truly knows oneself.
Lian-Chu : You are right.
[They watch the waterfall]
