The whole concept of a secret cult erasing people's memories is a bit disturbing.

We see Old Man Mc Gucket's slow descent into madness, which is sad to watch. He starts off as a smart scientist, but as he starts erasing his memories, side effects start to develop. He starts forgetting words, and eventually, he starts speaking gibberish.
