I'm at special number 3 right now and all she talks about is dating and LA white girls relatable stuff that probably any girl outside LA wouldn't really relate to. I'm a dude so maybe i'm wrong here about the LA white girl thing but dating humor seems to be her main shtick.
It's better than Elder Millenial still feminist but way less preachy. She actually admit in this one that woman cause their own troubles and are crazy sometimes which is good cause in Elder Millenial it seems to all be men fault and society.
But she still have funny jokes that land. The thing flow well. Her number about how girls like Fall is very funny. The number about girls fighting just to know if they can blame the guy even if it's 100% their fault is hilarious.
Enjoyed it. It was more abrasive and less "Yass Queen" than Elder.
Side note, She ends a lot of punchlines with like 2 easy words that can be hashtagged. And the hashtags appear on screen and it's really distracting i don't like that.

As Iliza Shlesinger says to the camera in a post credit scene in the special, she killed it. She was exceptionally funny in this special for Netflix. Covering topics ranging from Party Goblins, Pinterest, first kisses, breakups, and the differences between the sexes; the special was a fast paced roller coaster of laughs. Iliza's humor is a often biting send up of adult friendships and relationships. The special ends with a hilarious bit about her dream breakup. I was really impressed with her intensity throughout. The way she punctuates her jokes with screams at just the right moments reminds me of Sam Kinison. Her use of exaggerated body language and frequently acting out her jokes reminds me of Sebastion Maniscalco. She is a commanding comedic performer and I look forward to watching her other specials.
Iliza is an attractive and energetic performer, but I feel she sometimes lingers too long on one particular topic (like, for example, the weather) and the show loses its impetus. With that said, I liked this standup special enough to be watching more from her. **1/2 out of 4.
Can't get enough of Iliza. Wouldn't say I have a favourite of her specials but this would be up there. It seems almost inhuman for somebody to have that much wit and energy and stay on top form each and every joke. I watch her expecting some sort of error or F up and it doesn't happen. There is no one like her
Long live the demand for Iliza so it means she'll keep producing these shows. I was lucky enough to meet her at a corporate event she hosted and was pleasantly relived at how completely and utterly down to earth she was.
The world needs more Ilizas and I am a dedicated fan. This special is nothing short of pure genius.
Looking forward to more 😘

For me, this show was a complete waste of time. The jokes are cringeworthy in a way that almost made me angry.
