Robert, a successful real estate owner, anticipates the arrival of his son, Raheem, who he has not seen for 16 years. Robert was once accused of molesting Raheem when he was only 2 years old and despite the fact that it was proven not to be true, Robert was still kept from seeing his son by his ex-wife. Connie, Robert's mother, questions Roberts ability to somehow become the father figure Raheem needs, and Gary, his friend and therapist works with Robert's insecurities so Robert can meet and talk with Raheem. Raheem arrives and sees his father and grandmother for the first time in 16 years. The meeting is an emotional one, and in the end, Robert finds a way to have a new start in life.
