OVAs aren't allowed to be this good

I could've thought of a hundred backstories that may have resulted in Levi's darker inner motives and approaches to life. I'm pretty sure that all hundred would've not resulted in a character this well designed containing such deep rooted desires and emotionally driven self. But somehow, they managed to explain every single action he does and wants to do, every single emotion and it just makes sense. Perfect backstory to the perfect character.

Fantastic OVA

I was interested in watching this before finishing season 3, and i'm glad i did. You can never have too much Levi and Erwin. This episode shows Levi's life in the underground and how he met Erwin Smith. It has great world building, some fun action, and 2 interesting new characters. Great episode overall.

First Part of a Fantastic OVA

As far as extra Attack on Titan content, it can't get much better than a Levi and Erwin backstory, and with the renowned voice actress who plays Hunter x Hunter's Killua being one of the main characters of this OVA? Sign me up. This episode is fantastic in terms of world building. The New Characters are all very likable, and with the surprise appearance from Erwin and Mike, this episode is a perfect first half to this god tier OVA.
