Sharp clear view of the topic
This well-balanced documentary captures in short 30 minutes the essence of humor and life in Cape Town and South Africa.
Eric starts off with his own journey and finds through the work that there are parallel journeys of pain and discovery, and release through humor and acceptance that others share.
Humour has always been a feature and a tool of the dynamic and often difficult relationships and interface between cultures in this country and City.
It clearly captures the notion that we need to be able to laugh at ourselves in order to survive the melting pot that is Cape Town and SA.
Brilliantly crafted.
