A great overview of the last golden age of wrestling
phil_whittaker22 February 2020
There are some really good stand out episodes such as the ones about Bret, Jericho, foley, the rock, taker, stone Cold, ECW, DX and the NWO. However there is a very heavy bias from vince and the wwe's point of view, at times it doesn't provide a massively balanced point. The blue ray does offer some interesting additional insights from sting and Eric bishoff.

I could however watch this multiple times and wish wresting was still this good.

Nice, could be better

The series is fine, and helps the newer audience "live" this era. Really enjoyed watching it. However, it has some serious flaws. It is very repetitive, and many of the current superstars give boring opinions that seem heavily scripted. Older wrestlers -especially the ones that were part of the war- say more interesting stuff. Also, instead of every episode being devoted to a single superstar/team/whatever, i would prefer a chronological storyline. So, instead of having D-X and Mankind in different episodes, i think it would be better to develop both stories parallelly, because that's how it happened. That would eliminate repetition and would be better storytelling. All in all, it is fun but it could be much better.

Newer wrestlers had no business on this doc.

1st thought it was good but only a few dislikes. Today's wrestlers giving their opinions as if they were there, very annoying bc they had no idea what they were talking about. Also they dedicated too much attention to Individuals instead of just telling the story how it happened
