Loss is a tough subject. It's tough to live through and even tougher to navigate in a rational manner because in the midst of our losses we are often significantly less than rational. The characters in this beautiful film are often less than articulate, wise or even kind. However they are never less than human. The script direction and performances all skillfully manage to convey a compassionate vision of how folks strive for wholeness when they are feeling broken. It is a delightful journey to share.
