Plot Summary

Space Cop is a sci-fi schlock comedy about a cop from the future (of space) who travels to the present, where he's teamed up with a cryogenically frozen cop from the past who has been thawed out in the present. Out of time and out of place, these two unwitting heroes must work together to save the world from a group of renegade aliens and the re-animated brain of a mad scientist bent on global extinction. Trivia During the filming of the scenes where Space Cop and Cooper are looking for Grigg, someone in the neighbourhood got spooked at the sight of a crudely-decorated 'cop car' cruising around the area and called the real police, telling them than an 'Arab' was driving around in a car full of explosives. Once the police arrived and realised what was going on, they had some pictures taken with 'Rich Evans' and went on their way, with a friendly reminder to get the proper permits next time. See more »
Goofs When Grigg is shooting at the wall connections in the cryo lab, he shoots at one, which disconnects immediately. The camera cuts away to view the gunfight, but when we cut back, both connections are still intact. See more »

Crazy Credits SPOILER WARNING: In a post-credits scene, Timmy, the child that was presumed to killed in a fiery train explosion by Space Cop is seen ripping and vandalizing newspapers celebrating the cop for his achievements. He then turns towards the camera to show a scar in his eye, implying that Timmy was the one that killed Space Cop's wife in the future as revenge for the cop killing his father. See more »
Quotes Detective Ted Cooper: [Space cop is eating a large hot dog] You sure do like eating those things Space cop. Do you even know what hot dogs are made of?
Space Cop: Processed horse penis and Chinese people. At least they are in the future.
Space Cop: [pause] You know what I miss most about the future?
Detective Ted Cooper: What's that?
Space Cop: Hot dogs
