And yet big jim isn't dying? Until now i just found all the characters really annoying, I'm not rooting for anyone. Just let the Dome end them. They are all moron.

The story of Under the Dome gets more and more convoluted with each episode. The whole lyle Pauline angle. The Melanie story was getting so ridiculous. What is the purpose of her character that so much of show is dedicated to her? And ben tells norri he just saw the owner of the hardware store die when his car got crushed after the dome ran into it?! After THE DOME ran into it?! The dome had only moved a few feet by that time and was moving at 1/2 a mile an hour, the hardware store owner couldn't just reverse or get out of the car? It's sad that this series went downhill so fast. It had potential to be a great series.

It did it again. Another major cliffhanger!

Of all the times the series has mind-blown me, this episode takes the price. I don't know how the final episode of this season will end but I'm sure it will be another major plot-twist. Even if it is starting to get annoying with all these cliffhangers, I still love when bad crazy things happens all the time in the end and you have to wait until the next episode to get the answer. The cliffhangers are so intense that I really can't wait another weak to find out the big surprise. But I guess it could be disappointing too if the whole season ends with a cliffhanger and you have to wait until the next season (if it will ever be any). The last cliffhanger from the last episode of season 1 was horrible, and if this season has another one for us, it better be good!

Damn, the dome really like to toy with everyone in Chester's Mill...

Another episode without any purpose...

"Under the Dome" had a great start with the first season, but now at the end of season 2 its seems that the show has lost its focus.

It feels like that the writers of this show are now just randomly picking up disasters to throw inside the dome without any purpose: magnetism, dust storm, temperature dropping, dome shrinking, but none of it leads anywhere. The dome starts shrinking, then stops shrinking, and for what? The only real purpose these threats have is to fill holes in the story.

And the vortex swallowing Melanie, Lyle stabbing Pauline, and Big Jim killing Lyle at the end of the episode just left a bad taste of lazy writing and really bad editing.

Only one episode left this season. Really hope they can recover from this awful episode.
