So mario party 10 is a mario game from the mario party series and currently has 13 games in the series including ones from many different gaming devices and systems including mario characters being involved in a bunch of mario related minigames and going around a board of various obstacles and challenges by also challenging other players at the same time and also having different ways to play the game like multiplayer or just other various game modes that have been added to the series later and also having many brand new gameplay experiences by playing with many various controllers as well that nintnendo exclusively offers with different systems like the wii or wii u or even the nintendo switch and for this party game you have the wii u gamepad as one of your primary controllers and everybody in game like for doing things such as going all into a kart and then riding around all together on the board instead of going individually around the board like normal mario party game formulas go usually. HOWEVER, this game has received very bad reviews and very bad amounts of critics and criticism from both mario party fans but also fans of nintendo for making a game that breaks traditional mario party rules and the whole formula itself and completely changes it as a whole but in my opinion i like looking at it in the good senses of everything i come across to not make it seem like i hate everything about something and even though of course there are a lot of terrible things on this planet that still doesn't mean that we all can't look at the good side to certain things instead of just focusing on the negative side which means that we would only have a specific perspective of just negativity towards a majority of things that we come across and i like to look at that side of my brain differently and just think about it like there are in fact negative sides to everything but that very deep down even the worst things have even the smallest percentage of good inside them somewhere if you just look hard enough so here we. So first of all you have the whole mario kart like system of being inside of a kart all together instead of going out onto the board individually and doing your own thing but the thing is that not only experimenting with other mechanics that maybe you've never gotten the chance to experiment with before but also getting the chance to have other mario party fans give it a go is at least a trial and error type of situation where if you know that something isn't working out but in my opinion the utilization of changing the whole games core mechanics but then at least changing them into something a little bit different like being able to all stay in the same place but also still retaining similar mechanics like i how it's all based on whose turn it is for who will have a certain effect on what another but also it acts as if a whole start to finish type of deal where it's also like a normal mario game where you go from the start all the way to the finish and that's a nice little detail because instead of waiting for the turns and rounds to end for the game it now all depends on how far you progress through the board with others and that also makes sense why you would all be in the same place which adds some sort of corporation methods but also having disadvantages like multiple players gaining the same sort of effect as you or other players but also being able to work together to defeat things like boss fights for example which is also another really cool thing about this game is how it has boss fights as well and they all represent different mario enemies as well like mecha koopa, goomba, blooper, sledge bro and more to offer and also these boss fights go in a range of different mechanics to be able to defeat all of them like various minigame mechanics and not just attacking them head on but actually having some sort of competitive gameplay mechanics for each of them and actually adding puzzles and mastering skills or timing and even memory skills like having to remember a pattern or a spot to pick and that adds more ways to utilize various methods of gameplay to keep others entertained in the process. Also I do love and appreciate the different themes for other various maps and boards that represent previous themes of a mario game like volcanic or beach or even underwater and also grass and fields and even sky themes like being in the sky with airships and clouds to hop onto is always a fun time. Also having a brand new point related system by using mini stars but at least it's a brand new thing to keep the system fresh and while they say if it ain't broke don't fix it that's fine by my standards but also i really don't care as long as there is some sort of point system involved in every mario party such as collecting coins for example like the normal and original mario party formula. Also i do appreciate the whole system of bowser party where someone has a very big amount of power and strength but also adds a sense of fear and invincibility being bowser and having more power to defeat others on the board but also having exclusive bowser minigames if he catches you on the board. Also introducing brand new minigames to the series and even remastering older minigames which is very fun and refreshing to not only see new minigames but also older ones introducing brand new mechanics to try out for even new players. Also the amiibos are compatible with this game with an all new game mode to have called amiibo party where it works similarly to the normal mario party formula but you play as your amiibo that you're using and also there's a new board and layout that looks very cool and stylish and so does the games artstyle for all of the characters and their animations along with the art of all the theming and backgrounds of all the maps in this game look very impressive to me. So in conclusion, this game while there have been a lot of mixed opinions and reviews but also critics on it most of the time and even gameplays that i've researched over time before making this review document and trust me these are easier said than done because i actually don't play a majority of the games that i review but i do a HECK ton of research on them and i figure out nearly everything about the thing that i'm researching including official news and information about it that could even contribute towards the financial portion of nintendo themselves but what would i rate this game on a scale of 1 to 10, a solid 9 because of the car but that's pretty much it i personally do appreciate the brand new mechanics and systems to try out in this game and i would highly recommend it all to those who haven't heard of this game or would like to try it out for yourself if you would like and also i don't have anything against nintendo and i think that they can accomplish doing the right thing on multiple occasions.
