I just couldn't take it any longer

A farce. A disclaimer should accompany this show stating it has nothing to do with the historical record. I love American history, reading biographies, visiting historical sights etc. After 20 minutes of this awful piece I erased it and the remaining two episodes. Really, if they would have put a disclaimer saying " We made this stuff up!" and that it happened in an alternate universe I might have gone for it. I wish I would have kept count on the inaccuracies. I saw some other reviews defending the show and making comments that naysayers are overreacting. I challenge anyone liking the show to pick up books about our founding fathers and read the true story of how those great men started our country.
