This is a retelling of the first fairy tale, the story of Lugh's ascendance. It is based on two books derived from mainly Druid oral poetry and other writings from the Iron Age recorded by Irish Monks. Mallory's Mort D'Arthur from the medieval period is a perfunctory attempt at the larger story. It is part of a film Trilogy set in the contemporary world. The working titles include; Quest for Mihte Lugh, Journey to Nowhere and Mihte's Challenge and the Spear of Destiny.
