The Downfall of Swedish film industry
anb19-197-17112227 December 2014
Warning: Spoilers
Visiting Sweden Christmas time, I decided to go to the movies and watch something with a comic touch. Browsing a lot of different films I found out that 'Micke & Veronica' was the only film which wasn't fully booked, so I decided to go and watch it.

Five minutes in, there has been no presentation of any characters at all, already a number of awkward jokes and nothing seems to make sense. Sitting there at the cinema hoping to get a change eventually, but it stayed that way through the whole movie as well. Every joke is rather awkward and no one in the cinema is laughing at all.

There is no character-development at all through the entire movie. It feels like you must have seen ALL other films that lead actor David Hellenius has been casted in, in order to understand the humor, which is not a nice kind of humor in any way.

Hence, I give Micke & Veronica(2014) 1 out of 10.

Feel good movie

Really good movie. Good humor and chemistry between the main actors. Especially the female lead is wonderful. I therefore wonder about the critical reviews? Maybe because my private life is similar to that of the main actors that I can better relate to the film...

Anyway, I have now also bought it on DVD.
