A well crafted script with great execution in cast

This is hands down one of the best movies I had watched in 2014 till date. I could not have identified for you the names of the cast, the director or any one else in the movie but when I had done watching I wanted to know everything about them.

The movie is structured in episodes and the episodes carry the characters as well as the plot forward.

The role of the lead actress is well placed in the movie where it enters mid way and never take a prominence on screen but has the strongest influence in guiding the story to its end. In every way the movie's ending was more than satisfying.

The lead villain role was also played by ruthless but somewhat gullible group that adds to lighter moments in the movie.

Definitely an entertaining movie worth watching a few times.

Wonderful Story

Story is awesome. Acting of main character is okay but can be better. If story is decorated perfectly with better acting, it will be a masterpiece. But still a must watch movie as well as different storyline.

One of the best conman movies ever made. Fantastic dialogues and gripping screenplay. By far, it is one of the best tamil movies ever made.

Close to reality...!!

This movie reveals about various cheaters from real world...it acts alaram for not being victim of those cheaters... Dialogues are soo powerful... The protogonist acted soo well and others too.. Definitely must watchable movie..!!!

Superb plot and direction.

Plot is too good, direction, screenplay, acting everything is just perfect. Camera work could have been better for few scenes. Cast fit is too good. Finishes with a thrilling ending.

Excellent Movie. Everybody acted very well in the movie. Songs were not good in the movie. BGM was good in the movie. The movie was so interesting and thrilling at 1st half. The 2nd half in the movie lagged and bored a bit. Excellent Movie.

Started out on a strong note then lost vigor

Sathuranga Vettai started out on a strong note looking promising then...it slowly lost vigor...

DELICIOUS

---A big shout-out to the camera operators for doing such a fantastic job with the visuals. The cinematography nicely achieved the comic vision of the movie, capturing great shots

---Even though Gandhi (Natarajan) was conning people, it was still fun watching him do it because of the way people get easily cheated for the most ridiculous things. And Gandhi keeping a serious and convincing look throughout the negotiation was too good 😂

---Sathuranga Vettai had inspiring lines and reminded us that money is not everything in life, the strong relationships we forge are more valuable

---The editor gave us amazing scene transitions and animations, he kept the show going :D

BLAND

---Overall, the screenplay was a bit plain. Basically, we saw Gandhi swindling people, which was fun, then when the climax hit, the subsequent scenes were no longer sizzling. There was a trivial plan of paying back and acting turned casual with common dialogues.

The ending scene was quite abrupt based on Gandhi's new attitude in a moment of seconds. Additionally, a few chains of events seemed unrealistic

---The score in certain scenes, sadly, didn't coincide with the mood displayed.
