Episode cast overview, first billed only:
Demetrius Rowe
Dr. Natalie Henley

Alicia, as always, has a lot on her plate. She finally gets client Colin Sweeney to sign off on a merger with less than an hour to go before the documents have to be filed with the court. Sweeney's engagement party is underway and unfortunate one of the guests, Morgan Donnelly, hangs herself in the bathroom. Only the police don't think it's suicide but murder. Det. Lou Johnson is intrigued by the fact that this is the second time Alicia has been in Sweeney's house when a death has occurred. Alicia begins to wonder if Sweeney was in her view the entire time she said he was. The police arrest Sweeney's fiancée, Renata Ellard. Eli meanwhile is worried when a picture of Zach holding a bong appears on a website. Finn Polmar has been taken off a couple of the firms cases so Alicia suggests he run against SA James Castro in the upcoming election as he would be protected and can't be fired. Written by garykmcd

Tying the Knot-The Noose is Tightened ***
27 April 2014 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

At the beginning of the episode, I was actually thinking that it's time to bring back Will Gardner from the deceased or at least have Michael J. Fox's Lewis Canning on.

Alicia goes to the home of that wily client to get contracts signed so that her group can get a bonus. Instead, she is in the house when a woman is murdered and is therefore a witness to the crime.

Alicia devises a clever way for the prosecuting attorney who was shot when Will was killed to keep his position. It's further enhanced when the governor endorses the guy.

Did Zack smoke the pot or what or that video? Alicia's weird brother, the gay math professor, appears in the episode and actually compares Alicia to Mildred Pierce. Joan Crawford must have been rolling over with that one.
