Getting on like cats and dogs
Tweekums4 July 2014
Warning: Spoilers
This short series of three and a half minute episodes follows the lives of school friends Inugami and Nekoyama; Inugami is a doglike girl who likes cats and Nekoyama is a catlike girl who likes dogs. Over the course of the series we meet their various classmates who also have animal like characteristics.

The characters don't really do much; they don't have time to but this series is still rather enjoyable as the characters are likable and fun to watch. The animal gag is amusing and I'm sure it would be funnier still if you know your Japanese animal names as the girls' names reflect their characteristics; Inu means dog, Neko means cat etc. The series is 'yuri', with no male characters, but it is all very innocent and any romantic interactions between the characters are subtle and rather sweet. The animation and character design is pretty good considering it is a series of very short episode. Overall I'd certainly recommend this to anybody wanting a chuckle… it takes little over half an hour to watch it all.

These comments are based on watching the series in Japanese with English subtitles.

So basically this anime consists of 3 minute episodes and the feeling of each episode being rushed, absouletely makes you feel irritated and put off watching the anime completely. The only reason I got to watch this anime in the first place was because I felt like watching a shoujo ai/Yuri anime and this came up on Animelist. As well as that, it was interesting that the story is about a girl liking dogs and the other liking cats. I love both animals btw lol.

However i was very disappointed that this type of manga wasn't working at all for me, it was just rather neglected and basically not been taken seriously. Ok it's suppose to be a lesbian rom com, but it would've been better if there were more added genres so this way, the whole anime/manga would be kept fully alive.

If you thought this anime was complete crap like I did, I would highly recommend Bloom into you, Akuma no Riddle, Strawberry Panic, Kannazuki no Miko, Kashimashi: Girl Meets Girl, Happy Sugar life and Asagao to Kase-san.

Like a fast food cheeseburger, it is fast, small, quick, have some taste, but at the end of the day not something I can reccomend when compared to other sereis.

The ending theme is 100% fan service, nothing serious, but still some kind of it.

The topics of discussion are not so bad, but anyway not sufficient to make the series to reach the bar.
