Absolutely hilarious
babymanperson12 October 2020
This show is about a normal girl who just happens to be best friends in the world with an assisin. But its a wacky lighthearted slapstick comedy and they mostly hang out after school. Its broken up in to funny skits and there is a laid back vibe. There is Yatsana and their is Sonya. Yatsana is the normal enenrgetic girl that isn't too bright and is annoying. And there is Sonya the grumpy smart and more serious one. She frequently beats up Yatsana when she gets too annoying. The best character is Ageri their aloof ninja friend who is high pitched and always deadpan.

A one joke series that is still pretty funny

Warning: Spoilers
Yasuna Oribe, the series protagonist, is a fairly ordinary, if not very bright high school girl. Her 'friend' Sonya is far less ordinary; she explains to Yasuna that she is an assassin! This means she has hair-trigger reactions so that any time Yasuna lays a finger on Sonya she will be hit, kicked or wrestled to the ground. The series third character is Agiri; a ninja whose presence isn't obvious till she wants to be noticed.

This is virtually a one joke series; if you find Yasuna getting beaten up on a regular basis funny then there are lots of laughs to be had; if you don't you'll probably hate this. Other jokes involve Agari's dubious ninja techniques and 'Unused character' a red-haired girl who always misses whatever is going on… very much living up to her description. The character design is pretty good and fits in with the silliness of the series. One might expect lots of action from a series featuring an assassin and a ninja but it isn't that sort or series… it is all about the laughs. Overall I really enjoyed this series and laughed out loud at every episode. It won't be for everybody but it is worth checking out.

These comments are based on watching the series in Japanese with English subtitles.

a modern work of art

They said the mayan calendar was counting down to the end of the world, when in reality it was counting down the days until the release of kill me baby. Kill me baby was such a monolithic release that the whole world figured it would perish before getting to experience it. This show was so powerful, it managed to strike fear, terror even into the entire population with it's sheer quality and perfection, and that should be enough reason to check it out. Kazuho really is a modern Da Vinci or Michelangelo of our time, a mangaka on another level from anyone else in the game. I'm already on my 37th rewatch.

Not even god was ready for this masterpiece.
