"Afflicted, Inc." is an American 4-minute movie from 2 years ago written and directed by the very prolific Anna Akana. I have seen some of her works and I think this is still a better effort. but that does not mean its good. It is somewhat atmospheric and the final plot twist is fine, but not even the heavy makeup can hide how limited some of the actresses in here were in terms of their range. It was not a good watch overall. Story needed some refining and they should have cast other people, especially for the blonde antagonist character. Overall, I do not recommend checking it out. I hope Akana, her regular cast member Rosati and the rest can step things up in the future, especially in the subtlety department. Otherwise, their careers will fade quickly.
