You're the good guy now?

The main thought about this episode is that everyone is suddenly acting out of character.White knight Stephen suddenly wants to carry out an assassination, while John, usually the first to want to lock and load, suddenly starts spouting the no kill rule.Jedikiah, who's been hunting and killing Tomorrow People for years, suddenly announces he's on their side, as does the Founder. In fact, while there's now a clear rivalry between them and they seem to have different agendas, they're quite obviously both very ruthless individuals who the TPs would do wise to stay clear of.In the end, the Tomorrow People are far too quick to trust Jedikiah and far too quick to change their minds and the resolution of this(with Russell's borderline nonsensical "He hit me on the head and got me to take him topside" and Stephen just letting his arch-enemy walk away)is ridiculous.Oh, and Cassie dies, as a result of a bullet that apparently changes trajectory between shots, but it's mostly her own fault.

In the midst of this, we get the reappearance of Cara's sister, who turns out to be a Tomorrow Person. There's a nice role for Astrid and a surprising resolution:It seems like it's being set up for Sophie to either join the Tomorrow People or have her powers stripped by Ultra but Cara's solution, shielding her powers, sets up the possibility of this being revisited in future.Cara's deadpan reaction to Giselle is the highlight of the episode.Shame that the relationship dynamics, with John and Cara supposedly in a committed relationship while they drop hints about her and Stephen, seem to have jumped back fifteen episodes. And there's yet another excuse for Luke Mitchell to get topless.
