If you want a furtive glance into the world of antiques then look somewhere else. If you liked Barry's antics on Storage Wars and want to see more, then look no further. This show could be shown on Comedy Central because it has so many laugh out loud moments. In this show Barry travels around the United States brokering deals and having laughs along the way. He is accompanied by different sidekick's each week some of whom you may have seen in Storage Wars, each with his own comedic flavor. Watching the new series of Storage Wars without Barry i knew something was missing, just like when you're watching Storage Hunters and it all seems a little confrontational. Well, take all the fun of Barry Weiss, wrap it all up in a show and this is what you get, enjoy.
If you just like Barry Weiss, then I guess this show is for you. I like his personality and all but after watching the pilot I don't even know what this show is. I get the whole flipping idea, but all of these shows are so scripted that its pointless to criticize at this point. What I can gather he plays middle man between collectors, but that's a contrived concept from the start. I suspect this is another Thom Beers production (best buds). Anyway, the pilot is nothing but Barry d**king around. That's it. I am one of those people that wishes a show like Pawn Stars was more like a sleazy Antiques Roadshow. Barry's likable, give him a talkshow or something. This is just outright stupid and confusing, reality show producers need to stop flogging dead horses and be daring. This isn't a shame, it is shameful.

Well, I'm a Barry Weiss fan and him leaving Storage Wars was a bit of a
disappointment for me, but luckily they made this spin-off. The
question is of Barry has enough potential to fill a half hour show? Not
on his own, but the show fills in for that. The first episode marks the
direction this show is going and is repeated in subsequent episodes.
Barry on the road with a slightly crazy side- kick in a slightly crazy
car, on their way to help negotiate in a deal between two
collectors/dealers in antiques. A buyer/seller has called Barry for
help to bring or collect pieces to another seller or buyer. Barry and
his crazy side-kick take a road-trip and then pick up a local slightly
crazy person or the crazy buyer/seller him- or herself. Mostly showing
the misadventures among the road and the program quickly ends with
Barry settling the deal and all is well.
In my opinion, it is fun to watch, the switching side-kicks and local contributors add to the fun Barry himself is already bringing to the show. With three episodes on the roll when writing this review, I hope it doesn't get boring. Reality TV? Probably not, but I think that would make the show unwatchable. Three normal persons going on a road trip to settle a deal? *Yawn*
I love his show... Barry is the best of all the storage war characters .. Hope he keeps doing it ..he always goes for it and is not scare to spend money He got style and drives the best cars any TV celebrity drives. Not talk about the sense of humor.. Always up for a laugh and not a lazy guy like Dave and those that work with him in storage wars before. Don't understand why people score only 3 stars in general to this great TV program with a great personality like Barry has . I highly recommend to watch the TV series . I cant get enough of it and will keep watching as long as Barry will be there... For all he done he deserves to be recognize people :)
